Technical design

Technical design is about how your site is coded. Do it wrong and you’ll disappear off the [Google] map. Application of best practices will give you the tuned site you need to compete.

There are a number ‘rules’ that need to be applied when building a site. In a frightening number of cases, even with sites of major corporations these rules have either never been applied or have been casually cast aside in favour of a ‘groovy’ design. In the best case they are simply no longer being adhered to because the site is old (the rules change all the time). The problem is when the rules are ‘broken’ the site fails to perform in many ways. Its look may be inconsistent between browsers, it cannot be properly indexed by search engines or it will not render at all in alternative devices such as smart phones.

With so much experience, and a finger on the pulse of best practice, especially in the Sitecore arena, we can help you to ensure that your site is designed technically (and not just visually) so that its performance is absolutely ‘race car’ standards.
