‘Best practices’ is a vague term because it begs the question “according to whom?”. In our environment there are two key resources; The World Wide Web Consortium and Sitecore:
In adhering to standards laid out by W3C we embrace all of the most up to date techniques for building for the Internet, keeping track of the methods and coding that has become deprecated, and pulling in the new thinking. This allows us to maintain the quality of the sites we deliver against international and accessibility standards.
We have been working with Sitecore since the year 2000. Our Danish office is a stone’s throw from their development headquarters in Copenhagen, and we have been the first to implement their latest release on a number of occasions. There are many ways to implement a Sitecore solution, we like to think we know the best way.
