About Patientombuddet
Patientombuddet act as single point of access for patients who wish to complain about the treatment in the Danish health system.
Patientombuddet also gives guidance on the rights to health care in other countries, according to Danish legislation, EU regulations and other international agreements.
About the Solution
The Patientombuddet solution, based on Sitecore 6.2, serves two key purposes; it acts as a reference repository for visitors to read the results of previous claims and it acts as a vehicle for visitors to register complaints or make claims. To maintain the integrity of the historical data Nemetos migrated and merged data from two previous systems. This is now indexed by the Forward Search too and results, with faceted search capabilities are delivered to the visitor.
In addition, forms and processes for complaints has been integrated with the Danish Digital Signature standard “NemID” for unique and secure identification of applicants.
