About Efterskoleforeningen (Schools Association)
The School Association of Denmark carries out a wide range of tasks from advice on school management, law and economics, to educational development and promotion of the continuation schools. School Association member schools are divided into 7 regions, which carry out regional tasks and liaise between schools in the region and School Association Board
About the solution
The School Association cater for visitors who, although they are all associated with the Danish “Efterskole” system, come from very varying backgrounds. The solution therefore was created to allow visitors to explicitly select their role (e.g. teacher, board member, caretaker, etc.) and through content profiling actively deliver the most appropriate content. This was enhanced by a recommendation system that allowed visitors to qualify relevant articles to other members of their group.
