Front-end developer, UK position
We're looking for a skilled front-end developer to join our team in the UK.
We’re looking for
The candidate we are looking for is a person who likes to engage with clients and is able to communicate ideas and technical front end development feedback to our clients. You must be able to work on site with clients as well as being able to manage own time working from home. When on-site you will be working with our Designers, Usability Experts and front-end Developers to deliver the best quality web solutions for our clients.
We expect you to be a front runner when it comes to front end development. You have an infinite appetite for knowing and playing around with the latest technologies and in addition to being able to make the highest quality HTML from designs, you include mobile and social media aspects as a natural part of your work.
Your profile
The technical must haves:
- HTML, XHTML at expert level
- CSS – all versions at expert level
- JavaScript – at expert level
The personal must haves:
- Excellent communication skills, you like working with end clients and can convey complicated technical design / usability information to clients in a language they understand
- You work well on your own and in teams
- You want to improve and expand you knowledge on web development
- You are able to manage your own time
The technical nice to haves:
- XSLT knowledge
- Ability to create creative designs, Photoshop etc.
- Flash, Silverlight, HTML5 knowledge
- Anything else web related!
